Custom Watch Design
Consultation
We Consult with our client to determine their specific requirements in terms of movement, design and finishing.
Initial designs
Once our initial design and development is completed we share these with the client to get their sign off and/or make changes as required. Our aim is to give the client exactly what they want.
Project Completion
We only start the build once the client is 100% happy with the design. The build then starts and once completed, to our strict quality standards, the watch is presented to the client.
The Design below.
Designing a watch is a careful balance of aesthetics, engineering, and user experience. The process begins with defining the purpose—whether it’s a minimalist dress watch inspired by brands like Rolex or a rugged sports model reminiscent of Casio. Designers sketch the case shape, dial layout, and hand styles, considering proportions, readability, and comfort on the wrist. Material selection plays a crucial role, from stainless steel and titanium to sapphire crystal for durability. The movement—quartz or mechanical—determines the internal architecture and influences thickness and maintenance needs. Attention to fine details such as texture, color contrast, lume placement, and strap integration ultimately defines the watch’s character, transforming it from a simple timekeeping device into a functional piece of wearable art.
The watch below was developed with a client as a homage to Bell and Ross without being a direct copy. He specifically watch a motorsport feel with the dial and adding the forged carbon with rose gold flake was exactly what he wanted. Needless to say the client was very happy and we are proud to have delivered exactly what he wanted.
